The company ADO-Service, s. r. o. was established in 2004 with a focus on sawn and structural timber production and trade.
We process coniferous (spruce, fir, pine) and deciduous (oak, beech) logs.
Our main activity is the production of structural timber for trusses, construction timber (prisms, planks, roof battens, boards) and industrial timber intended for the packaging and logistics industry and the production of semi-finished products for parquet manufacturers.
We process a less valuable raw material (beech, oak pulp logs) for the production of firewood.
We also provide services in forestry, we own logging mechanisms and within our region we are one of the largest supplier of biomass for the energy industry.
A major breakthrough in the activities of our company occurred in 2018, when the decision was made to invest in a new technological line for sawing wood logs. The old sawmill was dismantled to the foundations, and during the summer, place were being prepared to house the new technology. The external storage and handling areas were also reconstructed.
At the beginning of 2019, a completely new technology of the well-known Italian brand Primultini was installed for the primary processing of wood logs, and subsequently the circullar edger/ripsaw of the German brand Paul were assembled for further processing.
This solution allows us to achieve the required productivity in the volume of about 70 – 100 m3 per shift while maintaining 100% quality and accuracy, high efficiency and variability of timber production.
The total investment in the reconstruction amounted to 2.8 mil. EUR. We have thus become a strategic partner for production and supply companies in the Slovak, Italian, German and Austrian markets. Our priority is quality, flexibility and accurate JUST-IN-TIME deliveries of timber and other wood products offered by our company.
During 2019, the company ADO-Service, s. r. o. has passed multiple certification processes. We hold the following certificates – FSC®, PEFC, LIGNOFIX and Certificate of Conformity of Production (C24-S10). We support sustainable forest management and we supply all our products with this certification.
We own two certified Mϋhlböck dryers with a capacity of 2x 50 m3 of timber. We are currently preparing for the construction of another drying chamber of the SUZAR brand with a volume of 100 m3. Based on this certification, we also provide heat treatment of wood material according to the requirements of the phytosanitary standard FAO ISPM no. 15.

FSC® certificate – a certificate of the FSC® chain of custody, which is awarded to companies that use FSC®-certified wood for their products and at the same time do business environmentally, economically and socially responsibly. The certificate is available for download in Slovak and English.
PEFC certificate – a certificate of the PEFC chain of custody, which through the support of sustainable forest management, ensures that the forest supply chain of wood and non-wood products are produced in compliance with the highest environmental, social and ethical standards. Certificate of conformity of production no. 1023-CPR-1012 F – the certificate demonstrates the ability to supply certified structural timber of rectangular cross-section sorted by strength (eg truss structural timber for the needs of truss manufacturers). Certificate no. 3598/2019 – to the Mϋhlböck dryer on the ability to provide heat treatment of wooden material according to the requirements of the phytosanitary standard FAO ISPM no. 15. The certificate is available for download in Slovak.
